Perform and assist with set-up, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of scales and related products. Need proficiency in repair and maintenance of most types and brands of weighing equipment and related products. Know how to obtain technical assistance when needed. Ability to carry scales and handle test weights up to 50 pounds. Ability to move 500 lb.+ test weights with the aid of equipment and operate various tools and vehicles.

Technician will trouble-shoot, repair, audit, service, install and modify equipment at various customers production and manufacturing facilities. The equipment is an industrial cabinet x-ray system mainly used in the food industry for contaminant detection as a quality control & food safety tool. Provide technical support on-site or from remote location(s) or from our Vancouver, WA office. Technicians must rely on their experience, training and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  1. Perform services, installations, training & provide technical support for manufacturing equipment
  2. Extensive Travel and work hours other than Monday – Friday will be required  for both planned and emergency services. Travel is typically 40 – 75% of                    work hours. Service area includes: Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Montana
  3. Quote parts, issue Purchase Orders and install on equipment
  4. Document problems and solutions of equipment on Field Service Reports
  5. Perform testing and documentation of new and existing products for equipment applications
  6. Assess equipment performance based on field experience and recommend upgrades that would improve customer production and satisfaction
  7. Provide advanced telephone, email and online support to customers for technical issues.
  8. Maintain a high technical knowledge level of products & peripheral systems
  9. Develop and provide on-site application training programs and certifications

Applicants must have experience MIG and TIG welding mild steel and Stainless is a plus. Installation and mechanical experience is a plus. Our ideal applicant will be able to read shop plans, work independently, and be familiar with a variety of tools and machinery. A good driving record is required as this position will require you to drive company vehicles.

Travelling for installations is needed but is not the main focus.

Temperament is important to us. While the ability to work independently is desired we also need someone who can be a team player. Our ideal applicant understands the importance of punctuality, has reliable transportation, and is willing to work overtime on short notice if it becomes necessary to complete a project.

We are looking for an industry native who knows the people, loves the culture, and really loves beer. Must be an open, authentic person with an innate compulsion to build and to learn.


This is a full-time, travel-intensive, lead departmental position where you will own accounts from prospecting to installation and system tuning. (Most accounts will be provided). You will work with grain handling specialists to design complete systems. Ultimately you will oversee sales and implementation of brewing systems from mash to brite.

  1. Aid clients with floorplan/layout that optimizes their space.
  2. Reconcile brewers’ wants and needs in a package that is ideal for their model.
  3. Advise clients and provide input for ideal equipment selection & design.
  4. Provide quotes and build relationships with clients.
  5. Ensure proper equipment installation, help tune equipment during first brews, document completion
  6. Consult brewers on recipe and technique.
  1. Intimate knowledge of brewing best practices and equipment

X-Ray Sales Manager (California)

We are looking for an industry native who knows food processing to drive sales in their territory. This is a relatively travel-intensive position where you will own accounts through closing in WA, OR, CA, NV, ID, UT, AZ, CO, WY and MT, chiefly focusing on CA.
You will develop and maintain a broad knowledge of company products and services while cultivating strong business relationships with processors and equipment manufacturers.

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies regarding customers (end users and OEMs), products, marketing, competition, and channel plans to maximize territory sales potential.
