SCALE TECHNICIAN

Perform and assist with set-up, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of scales and related products. Need proficiency in repair and maintenance of most types and brands of weighing equipment and related products. Know how to obtain technical assistance when needed. Must have exceptional customer service skills in person and over the phone.
Tasks/Duties:
  1. Observe company policies including safety, admin, and service
  2. Complete and assist in completion of service agreements and contracts
  3. Process rental equipment for set-up, delivery, and pick-up
  4. Repair scales in-house and at customers’ facilities
  5. Maintain individual workstation, computer, field service vehicle, and tools
  6. Compose neat and accurate documentation
  7. Seek out/recognize opportunities for sales and service agreements
Qualifications:
  1. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and electrical, foundation, and echanical drawings
  2. Knowledge of common electronic test equipment and tools
  3. Professional approach to customer service and preparation
  4. Operate forklift and overhead hoists
  5. CDL License (or clean driving record and ability to obtain one), ability to drive a 30,000 lb. GVW (minimum) vehicle
Aditional requirements:
Ability to carry scales and handle test weights up to 50 pounds. Ability to move 500 lb.+ test weights with the aid of equipment and operate various tools and vehicles.
Education:
High School Diploma (or Equivalent) One year of electronic education or experience

X-RAY TECHNICIAN

Technician will trouble-shoot, repair, audit, service, install and modify equipment at various customers production and manufacturing facilities. The equipment is an industrial cabinet x-ray system mainly used in the food industry for contaminant detection as a quality control & food safety tool. Provide technical support on-site or from remote location(s) or from our Vancouver, WA office. Technicians must rely on their experience, training and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Tasks/Duties:
  1. Perform services, installations, training & provide technical support for manufacturing equipment
  2. Extensive Travel and work hours other than Monday – Friday will be required  for both planned and emergency services. Travel is typically 40 – 75% of                    work hours. Service area includes: Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Montana
  3. Quote parts, issue Purchase Orders and install on equipment
  4. Document problems and solutions of equipment on Field Service Reports
  5. Perform testing and documentation of new and existing products for equipment applications
  6. Assess equipment performance based on field experience and recommend upgrades that would improve customer production and satisfaction
  7. Provide advanced telephone, email and online support to customers for technical issues.
  8. Maintain a high technical knowledge level of products & peripheral systems
  9. Develop and provide on-site application training programs and certifications
  10. Understand and adhere to strict safety and compliance guidelines at a wide variety of manufacturing & product in facilities
Qualifications:
  1. Ability to convey complex technical details
  2. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and collaborate on projects
  3. High computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft suite, networking & system integration
  4. Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  5. Clean Driving Record
  6. Composed demeanor able to perform while under unreasonable pressure from customers
Experience:
  1. Experience with HACCP and Radiological Safety
  2. Field Service Work History
Experience (optional):
  1. Experience in Service or Electronics industries
  2. Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics Physics, Applied Physics, Radiological Physics, Health Physics or related fields
