We provide comprehensive maintenance and repair of nearly every type of scale in the Portland OR, Vancouver WA, and surrounding areas. This includes software issues and custom programming from POS to automated manufacturing systems. We offer 24-hr scale service for work stoppages, speedy turnaround, and maintenance schedule monitoring (service contracts). Bring your scales to our shop or have us out to look at them.

How Much Does It Cost?
Prices vary from $125-175 an hour depending on the location and type of scale with no minimum; if there’s a loose wire that takes 15 minutes to find and solder, the cost will be about $40. If parts and labor threaten to exceed 50% of the scale’s value, a technician will reach out to review your options. These may include repair, recovery of partial operability, or the recommendation of newer, similar scales.
For on-site repairs there is a mileage and time-based service van fee, which we can combine with others in your area if your schedule permits. We also have a full-sized scale rig for truck scales, train scales, and other industrial scale applications.
How Long Do Repairs Take?
Scale type, capacity, condition, and shop workload will cause repair times to vary. We are generally able to return scales within 7 to 10 business days. If you know it to be a quick scale repair, you can make an appointment and have all the office coffee you can drink during the wait.
What Do The Service Contracts Look Like?
We include calibration, certification, and any preventative measures that will help extend the life of your scales. We stay on top of the schedules and group customers together based on location to minimize travel charges. We offer 30, 60, 90, 180-day, and annual services contracts.
Do You Accept Walk-Ins?
Walk-ins are welcome and often work out just fine. But because of the urgency fluctuation that is our service center, it’s best to make an appointment to avoid having to wait. We have a small waiting area with good coffee as well as a Starbucks and Fred Meyer close by.
