Bulk Food X-Ray

The bulk food x-ray machine features a number of infeed options to accommodate different foods and process configurations. It delivers a robust construction that Eagle is famous for, with full sanitary wash-down available. It is available in both the legacy and PXT models for either lowest total-cost-of ownership (if you're trying to just check the X-ray box) or if you want to find everything the modern industry is capable of. The corresponding model is the bulk 540.

Bulk Food X-Ray Machine, also a

The bulk food x-ray machine system addresses the unique handling and inspection requirements posed by bulk flowing products to help food manufacturers comply with stringent HACCP protocols and food safety requirements. The machine’s unique cupped belt construction is ideal for the transport, containment, inspection and rejection of high-volume bulk product. This innovative belt design promotes uniform flow of product while reducing spillage and product loss. Built to operate in harsh wash down environments, the bulk food X-ray machine has been designed to exact industry standards available with either IP65 or IP69 ingress protection. Unobstructed sightlines and contoured surfaces minimize potential material harborage areas while ensuring fast and

convenient visual inspection. The entire machine can be disassembled by a single person in a matter of minutes for thorough sanitation and quickly reassembled to maximize production uptime. The X-ray equipment for bulk food is operator-friendly and comes with advanced imaging software that boosts product inspection capabilities. Commonly, many bulk applications present busy images that make contaminants difficult to locate. Eagle’s dual energy (branded MDX) methodology accurately discriminates materials by chemical composition delivering unparalleled detection performance for hard to find contaminants.

Features and Other Benefits:

  • Sanitary construction minimizes harborage areas and reduces cleaning downtime.
  •  Easy belt removal for fast cleaning and maintenance for maximum uptime.
  • Unique cupped belt design keeps product on the belt, promotes uniformity of flow and reduces spillage.
  • CAT 3/PLd safety circuit with system status visualization standard.
  • TraceServer™ option manages critical inspection data remotely on a PC or Network database.
