Using Eagle X-Ray's Info Menu
A tutorial for the info menus on Eagle's x-ray machines including the main functions, repository, and reports. Reporting is enhanced by DSO Sentinel. Transcript below.
Main Functions
To access the Info Menu, we must log into a higher user level. Select ‘Menu,’ ‘User Level,’ and ‘Member of QS.’ Input the QS password and select ‘Login.’ Now we can select the ‘Info’ button to bring up several options. The first is the Repository, the centralized report file for completed product runs. ‘Print Report’ will print current statistics to a configured printer or save a PDF. The ‘Log File’ tracks all changes and errors. The ’Event Viewer’ is like the Log File, but for all Windows PC related events. Normalization and Calibration Data are detailed logs used by service technicians for pinpoint troubleshooting.
Repository
The Repository is the only information menu intended to be accessed as part of operation. The other menus are accessed at the direction of Service Technicians as part of troubleshooting. In the Repository, the machine generates a report whenever a defined production batch is complete, whenever the user manually switches to another product configuration, or when certain parameters, like weight learn, have been modified. The machine must be stopped to access the repository. The length of time information can be stored is configurable but limited to 2 weeks. The repository can be saved to a USB drive by clicking the save button at the top of the screen. Programs like DSO can collect this data and generate reports automatically.
Reports
Each entry can be expanded to view reports like those available on the main screen during a production run, such as weight and reject reports. Images manually saved from the main screen during production will appear in the repository. Additionally, the repository can be configured to save all rejected images. The images are saved as HPI files, which are very detailed greyscale images that also save layer information and tag marks. Tags can be toggled, we can zoom in and out, and brightness/contrast and be changed just like in the HMI. When finished reviewing an image, the red crossed circle will return you to the repository.
