Used Air Classifier Milling System

Used primarily for milling dairy proteins down to 100. mesh, this flexible system mills virtually anything down to 30 micron depending on application. The yield loss is minimal, increasing temperature from 10-20 degrees F, and its maximum throughput is 2000 lbs./hr. for difficult materials and 4000 lbs./hr. for easy ones.

Material is fed into the milling system using a Taylor loading hopper with 3-inch flexible auger screw conveyor for discharge.

CMS Air Classifier Mill 40
The system is built around a high-efficiency air swept classifier milling system designed to simultaneously grind, classify, and pneumatically convey product in a single operation. The integrated classifier provides precise particle size control while minimizing over-grinding and maximizing throughput.
IAC HE 26 Cyclone Discharge
The finished product is collected through an IAC Model HE26 discharge cyclone constructed from 12-gauge 304 stainless steel.
