This Kason fluid bed dryer comes from an agglomeration drying line and is optimal for any agglomerated powders such as dairy proteins, calcium carbonate, and charcoal. It was originally spec'd for whey protein (WPI) and had a maximum throughput of 2000 lbs./hr. when taking moisture content from 30% to 10% or 10% to 0.5%. Because this is a more difficult application than most, it can be considered to have a max throughput of ≥ 2,000lbs./hr.

DRYER SPECS:
• Model K60/72-1FBD-SS, 60” diameter  Vibrobed Fluid Bed Dryer
• 8” diameter product discharge spout
• An adjustable weir (with plough) will be provided to vary bed depth, and to control retention time
• 304 stainless steel material contact parts
• 304 stainless steel Dust Cover with 8” diameter inlet port, a 12” diameter  exhaust port, and one (1) inspection port will be included
• The assembly will include all necessary clamp rings, gaskets, etc. and will be mounted on stainless steel vibration isolating springs and a carbon steel base assembly
• Vibrated by two (2) externally mounted 460 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz  Kason vibrator motors with adjustable amplitude of Vibration
