This TDI Packsys x-ray machine was a temporary solution for a flavor manufacturer and was originally purchased for $165K. It is a relatively new machine (built in 2026) with ~1,100 hours of run-time and in excellent condition.
The manufacturer maintains that it's in the same running condition as new, and will cover the cost of recertification for companies near Chicago. For all other, ABM can provide support. More pictures are in the gallery, and drawings are in the manual below.
Inspection area at the belt is 15.74 in. (400mm) at the belt with the beam geometry below. Offers will be accepted if not sold by the end of the year.

What will service look like?
TDI is aware of this machine being sold and will set up and service it as normal (each with a fee). They will not allow the warranty to transfer (as is typical) but machines never fail within the first year (unless there's a defect), but since there wasn't one, the experience with this machine shouldn't be different than with a new one.
Are there any known issues?
No, it arrived with everything working, and no changes were made.
How does this machine stack up with others?
TDI is a pretty good brand with machines that perform pretty well in the market, as laid out in this industry guide. But because this uses the best of the widely-available technology (dual energy), this machine's performance will be comparable with virtually any other machine on the market as long as you don't have an extremely difficult application.
